Park Rules
Phil Hardberger Park is a natural area providing important wildlife habitat amidst an urban core. Please practice Leave No Trace Principles and do your part to keep the park wild. The Park is City-owned and follows City Park rules.
Hours
The Park is open from Sunrise to Sunset. Check Google for the current sunset and sunrise times. Vehicles left in the park after operating hours will be ticketed.
Trails
The trails are multi-use, which means walkers, runners, bicycles, strollers, roller-blades and skateboards are permitted on the trails.
Bicycles are not allowed off-trail.
Please stay on the trails. Hiking off-trail is prohibited to protect the native habitat.
Please Share the Trails by walking on the right side of the trail and passing on the left.
Please carry all trash to the nearest waste receptacle. Do not litter.
Motorized vehicles are prohibited on trails.
Piñatas & Balloons
Piñatas and balloons cannot be hung from the trees in the park.
Glass Container Ban
The use of glass containers in Phil Hardberger Park is prohibited by ordinance.
Camping
Camping is not allowed at Phil Hardberger Park.
Metal Detecting
Metal detecting is not allowed at the park.
Pets
Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash when not inside the dog parks.
Dog owners/handlers must be in possession of a leash at all times.
Dog owners/handlers are responsible for picking up and disposing of all of their dogs' waste.
Never leave dogs unattended.
Wildlife
The feeding of any wild animals in the park is prohibited.
The touching or harassing of wildlife is prohibited.
Fire ban
Barbecue pits are available in picnic areas where grilling is permitted.
Personal barbecue pits and grills are not allowed in the park.
Fireworks and smoke bombs are prohibited in the park.
Tobacco
Smoking and all forms of tobacco use is prohibited.
Alcohol
Alcohol is prohibited in the park.
