Family Outdoors: Intro to Birding

  • Salado Outdoor Classroom 13203 Blanco Road San Antonio, TX, 78216 United States (map)

Have you ever wondered what sort of birds we have in San Antonio? Now's your chance to learn what to look —and listen— for!

Join Tom and Patsy Inglet of the Bexar Audubon Society for an introductory lesson in Birding perfect for families with children. Learn the tools, etiquette, and strategies of the trade, then set foot into the park to locate some native birds. We will also use the site eBird to track the birds we see in the park.

Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water to stay hydrated. Bring your own binoculars if you have them!

**For families with children. Class size is limited. Registration is required for each family member.
