Historic Inhabitants: Do you know the history of the land you live on??!

Stop by one of the Greeter's tables (located at the Urban Ecology Center and the Salado Outdoor Classroom) to pick up a Grab-N-Go kit filled with activities to help you explore the park.

Indigenous people have lived in the greater San Antonio area for over 12 thousand years, and many of the plants we have in the park served many purposes beyond food. This kit contains information about early inhabitants of the area and ideas on how to start investigating the way people lived off the land! The kit also includes a fun-themed activity to make and a yummy snack recipe!

This is a drop-by program. Supplies are limited. Packets are designed for children ages 3 and up.
