Decomposers: Our diverse friends who turn dead plants into dirt! 

Stop by our table in the Children's Nature Play Area, or one of the Greeter's tables, to pick up a Grab-N-Go kit filled with activities to help you explore the park. 

From mushrooms and fungus to isopods and springtails, these little but mighty decomposers help make the world go 'round. 

This kit contains information about decomposers and why we love them here at Hardberger. It also includes a fun, themed activity to make and a yummy snack recipe!! 

This is a drop-by program. Supplies are limited. Packets are designed for children ages 3 and up.
