Grab N Go: Thrilling Taxonomy!

  • Greeter's Tables 8400 NW Military Hwy & 13203 Blanco Rd San Antonio, TX United States (map)

"Have you ever wondered about your own family tree? What about a bird's family tree... or a raccoon... or a frog?! In science, in order to better understand animal relationships animals are organized in many ways.

Stop by our Greeter's tables to pick up a Grab-N-Go kit filled with activities to help you explore the park. This month's theme is Taxonomy and we'll look at the ways lifeforms are organized and how they’re related or different.

This kit contains information about plants and animals that lived in our area millions of years ago. The kit also includes a fun themed activity to make, and a yummy nature-themed snack idea!!
For children aged 3 and up, Drop-in program, supplies limited to first 30
