Join us to learn how to raise native caterpillars to butterflies from your very own home! With the help of Alamo Area Master Naturalist Derrick Mims and our BLC experts, participants are provided the knowledge and materials to support butterflies throughout their entire life cycle.
Caterpillar Kit supplies are limited to the first 10 participants (one per household), who will receive a growing container and host plant (food) for the caterpillar. There will also be pollinator seeds for all that attend.
The Butterfly Learning Center is an outdoor garden and learning space, located in the Voelcker Historic Homestead. It is a project by the Alamo Area Master Naturalists, maintained by a crew of Master Naturalist Volunteers.
