Notice: This Program has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 14 due to weather!
Class will be indoors.
Meet outside the Urban Ecology Center. Once gathered, the group will go on a short nature walk to gain some inspiration for the embroidery activity. Then we'll return to the outdoor picnic tables to arrange materials and learn the basics of embroidery. We'll use images of native plants [since it's still winter!] and basic techniques to try our hand at this classic art form.
Encounter the Savannah Restoration and Wildscape Demonstration Garden and learn a little bit about these unique features here at Phil Hardberger Park. Please note, we will be working with hoops, thread, needles, and scissors.
No Art Experience Necessary!
